On the occasion of Capital Markets Day the new Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 were unveiled: a special limited series of a new segment called the “Icon”, which was born from a concept inspired by the most evocative cars of the Cavallino of the 1950s and equipped with the best technologies available today. Destined for the most passionate customers and collectors, the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 pick up on the theme of the competition barchetta, from the 166 MM of 1948, progenitor of the concept of the boat itself, up to the iconic 750 Monza and 860 Monza. Born with the sole aim of winning, these cars designed and built without compromise contributed in the 1950s to creating part of the Ferrari legend thanks to the many triumphs in the World Sports Championship.
