The final race of the only triplet of the Formula 1 World Championship, the Italian Grand Prix, took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza 2022. The circuit celebrated its centenary. Built in 1922, the Italian circuit is widely regarded as one of the classic motor racing circuits, the only truly high-speed Formula 1 circuit.
In the year in which the Monza Autodrome celebrated its hundred years of history, there were two other important anniversaries: the 150 years of Pirelli and the 75 years of Scuderia Ferrari. The Prancing Horse team appeared on the track with a special livery on the F1-75, adorned with “Giallo Modena” inserts, a reference to the origins of the myth.
A super Leclerc took second place overall.
